Hours Per Week Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with ultrasound examinations following departmental protocols and procedures Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process Operate, adjust, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively Capture and transfer diagnostic images through PACS systems for physician review Provide technical assistance to radiologists during procedures Maintain adequate exam room supplies and equipment readiness Ensure patient safety and follow infection control standards Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound staff members Coordinate scheduling, answer phones, and support patient flow as needed Perform additional duties assigned by the department
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required Must have exact VU Ultrasound System experience Must have experience performing prostate sonography procedures Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) ARRT certification required BLS certification required Associate's Degree required Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
