Contract / Part-Time Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join a busy diagnostic imaging team in New York, NY. This part-time weekend opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking a consistent schedule while delivering exceptional patient care and imaging support. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with department protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment effectively and safely Capture and upload high-quality diagnostic images to PACS systems Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate imaging support Assist with department workflow, scheduling, and supply management Support orientation and training of new imaging staff as needed Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required ARDMS certification required Valid RDMS and BLS certifications required Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging equipment and PACS systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills Education Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following: Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology OR High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
