Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OBGYN sonographer with experience in MFM( Maternal Fetal Medicine) to join our esteemed medical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in maternal-fetal medicine, physiology, and diagnostic imaging, with a strong commitment to patient care. Responsibilities Perform detailed obstetric ultrasounds for high-risk pregnancies (Maternal-Fetal Medicine/MFM cases) Assess fetal anatomy, growth, and development throughout pregnancy Evaluate fetal well-being using biophysical profiles, Doppler studies, and amniotic fluid measurements Identify and document fetal abnormalities or complications Conduct first-, second-, and third-trimester ultrasound examinations Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g., amniocentesis, CVS) Obtain accurate measurements and high-quality diagnostic images Review patient medical history and correlate findings with clinical indications Communicate preliminary observations to MFM physicians and healthcare teams Educate and support patients during ultrasound procedures Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality Accurately document findings in electronic medical records and reporting systems Follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA/privacy regulations Stay current with advances in fetal imaging and MFM protocols Qualifications Associate's degree or certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field Graduation from an accredited ultrasound/sonography program Current certification through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent credentialing body Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential required OB/GYN specialty certification (RDMS-OB/GYN) strongly preferred or required Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) or high-risk obstetric ultrasound experience Certification in Nuchal Translucency (NT) and cervical length assessment preferred Knowledge of fetal anatomy, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, and high-risk pregnancy imaging Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging software Strong understanding of obstetric terminology, anatomy, and pathology Ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic images with accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and patient-care skills Strong organizational, documentation, and multitasking abilities Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Minimum of 1-3 years of
