1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer / Echocardiographer with 3+ years of experience and dual registration in vascular and echo for a 13-week travel assignment in Ohio. Details Hospital-based cardiovascular imaging department performing both noninvasive vascular and cardiac testing Procedures include echocardiograms, carotid ultrasound, PVR, segmental pressures, TCPO2, TEE, resting echoes, stress echoes (dobutamine and treadmill), and venous/arterial ultrasound Variable shift schedule: either 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 3:00 PM-11:30 PM depending on unit needs No holiday or on-call requirements Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a vascular sonographer/echocardiographer 1+ years of travel experience preferred Active BLS certification required RDCS and RVT registration through ARDMS, or RCS and RVS registration through CCI required Dual registration in both vascular and echo is required Active state license required if applicable Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information Performs and interprets noninvasive vascular and cardiac studies according to established protocols Communicates preliminary and final reports and maintains accurate patient documentation Responsible for equipment maintenance and upkeep of the work area Provides training support for students and new employees Maintains CEUs and contributes to accreditation body reporting requirements Participates in ongoing departmental quality improvement initiatives
