272 Hospital Rd, Chillicothe, OH 45601 Kiwi Healthcare is hiring an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (General ab/ob small parts) for a 13-week Contract Assignment in Ohio.
Job Summary:
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols. Operate ultrasound equipment and select appropriate transducers, settings, and techniques to ensure optimal image quality. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the exam, taking a relevant medical history, and positioning them correctly. Recognize and document normal and abnormal sonographic findings. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians by providing preliminary impressions and ensuring timely delivery of images and reports. Maintain accurate patient records, including procedure details and technical data. Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of ultrasound equipment. Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and radiation safety protocols. Participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education as required. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Organized, timely, and accurate completion of procedures relative to department standards. Utilize effective communication to ensure customer identification, education, safety, and satisfaction. Communication and documentation of all variations from protocol. Interventions with patients/families of all age groups: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

5x8s |7:00am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm | When covering the weekend, it will be a 12-hour shift 7a-7p and the weekday shifts leading up to and after will be 7hr shifts (example 7a-230p or 730a-3p) |no call

Weeks Job Requirements:
Graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited diagnostic medical sonography program Must have current ARDMS (AB) or ARDMS (OB) Certification 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech in Abdomen (AB) or Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) Current BLS Certification from American Heart Association —-We offer one-time Travel reimbursement of $500 to travelers--- How to
