Job Description Summary:
The Perinatal Ultrasonographer provides patient care through OB/GYN ultrasound and Doppler Imaging. Under general supervision, performs routine and targeted sonograms, fetal echocardiograms and CW Doppler imaging studies. Assists in the performance of Level II and transvaginal sonographic studies and fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures. We are looking for an experienced Perinatal Ultrasonographer for part-time casual (as needed/PRN), Monday-Friday coverage. There is no weekend or major holiday coverage required. Our Maternal Fetal Medicine offices are located at Doctors Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, Marion General Hospital, and Riverside Methodist Hospital. We offer an annual uniform allowance and an annual allowance towards RDMS renewal.
Responsibilities And Duties:
50% Performs routine OB/GYN sonograms includes Level I, II, BPP, Transvaginal l and reviews studies and reports with Perinatologist. 20% Assist physician in fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures. 10% Assists in resident teaching in ultrasound. 5% Data entry of obstetrical ultrasound reports. 5% Performs Doppler Imaging and fetal echocardiograms. 5% Organizes activities to assure conformity to established policies and procedures and standards of quality care. 5% Maintain and oversee satellite ultrasound machine on L&D. As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
