Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Specialized imaging professionals are needed for a 13-week contract role focused on providing high-quality ultrasound diagnostic services within a reputable healthcare environment. This position is designed for experienced Ultrasound Technologists or Sonographers passionate about patient care and excellence in imaging.
Schedule:
3x12 hour shifts Weekend nights
Qualifications:
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Registered with ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in general ultrasound imaging Demonstrated proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and adhering to safety protocols Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to ensure patient comfort and optimize image quality throughout the diagnostic process
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of general ultrasound procedures to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient treatment Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and answer questions to ensure comfort and cooperation Maintain accurate records and collaborate with radiologists and medical teams for optimal patient outcomes Adhere to established protocols, infection control, and safety standards within the imaging department Participate in ongoing quality control and equipment maintenance activities Effectively manage workflow during night and weekend hours, ensuring timely and compassionate care
