Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional with strong skills in general ultrasound imaging and sonography to support patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This 13-week assignment requires proficiency with a variety of ultrasound procedures and is ideal for a dedicated technologist who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour night shifts Monday through
Thursday:
7:30pm - 6:00am
Requirements:
Current ARDMS certification Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Demonstrated expertise in general ultrasound imaging Familiarity with standard protocols, patient safety, and digital imaging systems Ability to work independently during night hours Excellent patient communication and care skills Strong organizational abilities and adaptability
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders Operate ultrasound equipment, capture diagnostic images, and ensure accurate documentation Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely, relevant findings Ensure a safe exam environment and apply best practices for infection prevention Assist with patient positioning and education throughout imaging procedures Participate in quality control and equipment maintenance tasks as needed Adhere to all facility policies, HIPAA guidelines, and regulatory standards
