Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Advance your career as an Ultrasound Technologist in a vital healthcare setting where your expertise in imaging makes a difference. This opportunity involves a 13-week contract and centers on providing high-quality ultrasound services with a focus on compassionate patient care.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour shifts Weekend nights
Key Qualifications:
Registered by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum of two years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Proficiency in general imaging ultrasound procedures Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of general ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians Acquire and analyze diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols Document patient history and exam results accurately in the electronic medical record Ensure proper patient identification, education, safety, and comfort throughout procedures Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to deliver top-quality care Maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and adhere to infection control standards
