Ultrasound Technologist - Medical Imaging

PRN A mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Responsible for performing Ultrasound procedures, producing high quality images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Coordinates the day-to-day activity of patient procedures in assigned area. Responsible for all required paperwork associated with the diagnostic exam. Responsible for accurately entering all patient charges. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. Graduate of an accredited radiography and/or Ultrasound program Advanced education may be required for specific imaging modalities. Registered by the ARDMS or Registry Eligible. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program or 12-18 months on the job training or be registered by the ARRT in Radiology with 12-months experience in Diagnostic Medical Imaging. Must be educationally prepared and clinically competent to perform ultrasound studies.
