Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to support our outpatient clinic on a part-time basis. This position is currently needed one day per week The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment, flexible with schedule changes, and confident performing vascular ultrasound exams while clinicians are present and actively assessing the patient. Job Duties and Responsibilities The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasound studies in an outpatient clinical setting.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform vascular ultrasound exams, with a focus on lower extremity venous and arterial studies Conduct vascular studies while clinicians are present and evaluating the patient in real time Obtain accurate images and measurements according to clinical protocols Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient care standards Prepare patients for ultrasound exams by explaining the procedure and positioning them appropriately Communicate clearly with clinicians, patients, and clinic staff during exams Identify and document relevant sonographic findings for clinician review Maintain professionalism and patient comfort throughout the exam Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained Follow clinic policies, safety standards, and patient privacy requirements Remain flexible with scheduling changes based on patient volume and clinic needs Qualifications Experience performing vascular ultrasound studies Ability to perform lower extremity venous and arterial exams Experience in a fast-paced clinical or outpatient environment preferred Comfortable working directly with clinicians during patient assessments Strong communication and patient care skills Dependable, professional, and flexible with scheduling ARDMS/RVT or CCI/RVS credential preferred, if applicable Schedule Part-time One day per week At least three weeks per month Schedule may vary depending on clinic needs Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, adaptable, and able to perform vascular ultrasound exams independently while supporting real-time clinical decision-making in an outpatient setting.
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
