Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent). Proven experience in performing general ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies. State licensure as required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and working within multi-disciplinary teams. Familiarity with electronic medical records and modern ultrasound equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations across a broad spectrum of procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis. Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures. Maintain thorough documentation and uphold patient privacy standards. Calibrate, operate, and routinely inspect ultrasound equipment.
