Franklin Street location | hourly (as needed) position with varied shifts, weekends, one holiday per year & call located at Main Campus + no travel. More about our team Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency procedures. Ultrasound guidance biopsies of the breast and thyroid, paracentesis, thoracentesis/gynecological procedures and vascular ultrasound. How you'll contribute An Ultrasound Technician who excels in this role: Positions, transfers and properly immobilizes patients as required. Performs diagnostic abdominal and pelvic ultrasound studies. Performs diagnostic vascular (carotid and extremity venous) ultrasound studies Performs diagnostic obstetric ultrasound studies Maintains records and statistics of ultrasound studies. Maintains professional skills and provides age-specific needs to patients of all ages (neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics). Follows safety procedures and guidelines and reports unsafe practices and conditions. Assists physician during invasive ultrasonographic procedures. Participates in peer competencies. Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for Applicants should be a graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology.

Additional requirements include:

Graduate of an accredited DMS program or

ARRT/DMS

certification. BLS within 30 days of hire is required.
