Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Performs echocardiograms, Dobutamine stress echos, treadmill stress testing, and assists with transesophageal echos. Responsibilities Performs Echocardiograms using a departmental protocol for obtaining images. Assists with TEE's and stress testing, providing images that support the physician's ability to diagnose patients appropriately and identifies problems & implements appropriate interventions, including reporting critical values. Sets priorities for completion of studies based on acuity, patient preference and/or the coordination of care with nursing and other ancillary services. Obtains EKGs that reflect appropriate lead placement, minimal artifact, and correct patient information. Sets up and scans Holter Monitors, providing tracings that support the physician's ability to diagnose patients appropriately. Performs related duties as required.Qualifications Required:

Associate degree or professional training preferred.Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:
ARDMS/RCDS or CCI/RCS Certification within 1 year of employment American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.Preferred Qualifications Experience:
