Desired Qualifications:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification Proven experience in general, obstetric, fetal, and gynecologic ultrasound Familiarity with American Society of Radiologic Technicians (ASRT) and AIUM practice standards Proficiency in radiology systems, PACS, and electronic health records Excellent communication and patient support skills
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients to perform specialized obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasounds as per physician orders and departmental protocols Accurately document and deliver required images to ensure complete and thorough diagnostic evaluation Perform fetal monitoring tests and assist physicians during invasive procedures Provide clear information and emotional support to patients and families during examinations Demonstrate proficiency with ordering, tracking, and documenting exams using hospital systems Uphold ASRT and AIUM practice standards, ensuring the highest level of patient care
