Mobile General & Vascular Sonographer (Full-Time / Days)

Columbia, SC (and surrounding regions)

Salary:
$35.00 - $43.00 / hour About the Role We are looking for a Full-Time General and Vascular Sonographer to join our mobile ultrasound team in Columbia, SC. In this role, you will travel to various patient environments—including nursing homes, home care facilities, and correctional facilities—bringing high-quality diagnostic imaging directly to those who need it most. Key Responsibilities Mobile Imaging:
Transport and unload portable sonographic equipment to perform high-quality ultrasound exams at patient bedsides.
Digital Processing:
Perform scans and digitally transmit competent diagnostic images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Independent Workload:
Manage your daily caseload via our self-dispatching system and communicate every 30 minutes with dispatch or via voicemail.
Patient Safety & Care:
Accurately verify physician orders against patient charts. Use two unique patient identifiers to ensure correct patient matching before performing procedures.
Compliance & Logistics:
Maintain company-provided equipment and vehicles professionally. Adhere to uniform, background check, and annual health screen requirements (including TB screening). Job Requirements & Qualifications Certifications & Registries (Minimum Required): Must be dual-registered in both General and Vascular ultrasound at a minimum.
Accepted registries include:
ARDMS (AB & RVT) , CCI (RVS) , or ARRT (R.T.(VS)) .
Note:
Limited licenses are not accepted.
Additional Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (subject to periodic checks) and knowledge of regional geography/travel routes. Vaccination against
COVID-19
(or an approved documentation-backed exemption). Strong smartphone and basic computer skills (scanning, printing attachments, emailing). Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. Physical Demands Ability to lift equipment bags into and out of vehicles/wheeled carts requiring 18 to 20 lbs of force. Ability to push/pull wheeled equipment carts for up to 250 feet (initiating force of 10 lbs; sustained force of 5 to 8 lbs). Certification Requirements
