Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations using a patient-centered, holistic approach. You will work independently while collaborating with physicians to support accurate diagnoses and excellent patient outcomes. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, selecting appropriate imaging techniques Assist physicians with the technical aspects of examinations and procedures Educate and support patients and families by clearly explaining procedures Coordinate workflow and scheduling to ensure efficient patient care Maintain sterile technique and assist with patient positioning and transfers Review exam orders for accuracy and complete required documentation and recordkeeping Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational policies (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.) Maintain current knowledge of department practices, equipment, and organizational updates Contribute to a positive team environment and support overall clinic operationsQualifications Education:
High school diploma required. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology School or ARRT registered required.Experience:
Demonstrated ultrasound experience required. License(s)/Certification(s): ARDMS Registered/Eligible required. Maintain ARRT orARDMS CEU
requirements. BLS Required. Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required.Similar remote jobs
