Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Current certification by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in General Ultrasound CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start Recent experience performing a wide range of general ultrasound exams (abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular preferred) Ability to adapt to different hospital protocols and EMR systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality ultrasound imaging to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review and deliver exam results Observe infection prevention protocols and safety standards Accurately document patient information and imaging findings Engage with patients to ensure comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
