Job Description

Description University Physicians' Association is excited to welcome a skilled and compassionate full-time Ultrasound Technician to join University Women's Specialists , conveniently located on the main UT Medical Center campus in Knoxville . This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional care to obstetrical and gynecology patients.
What You'll Do:
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on OB/GYN patients Conduct perinatal ultrasounds , including fetal anatomical surveys, Doppler studies, and assessments of fetal well-being Assist physicians during in-office procedures requiring ultrasound guidance Provide clear, compassionate explanations of procedures while addressing patient questions and concerns Travel periodically to satellite offices within the Knoxville area , as needed Document findings accurately using the electronic medical records system Communicate professionally and effectively with providers and care team members Maintain compliance with
HIPAA, OSHA
, and all office policies Support clinic operations by assisting with workflow and other duties to ensure excellent patient care Work confidently and independently while remaining a strong team player Why Join Us? Requirements What We're Looking For A friendly, professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care Ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively Excellent communication and organizational skills OB/GYN experience preferred. RDMS registered required. Graduate of accredited ultrasound program.
