Job Description

Apply for this opportunity as a Vascular Technologist with a top healthcare facility in the Memphis, Tennessee area for permanent/direct hire.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The successful candidate will perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with circulatory disorders. The technologist will work closely with physicians and other medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and diagnostic accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of non-invasive vascular diagnostic procedures, including carotid duplex, arterial and venous Doppler studies, ABI testing, and other related exams. Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation. Acquire diagnostic-quality images while adjusting technical factors as needed. Evaluate ultrasound findings and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in PACS and EMR systems. Ensure ultrasound equipment is functioning properly and participate in quality control protocols. Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures. Assist with patient scheduling and contribute to the efficiency of the vascular lab.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or vascular technology program. RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) through ARDMS or RVS certification through CCI required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Minimum of 1 year experience in a vascular lab setting preferred. Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
