• Position Summary:

• The Ultrasound Technologist performs physician-directed diagnostic imaging procedures and provides support activities to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

• Primary Responsibilities:

• + Perform routine and specialized ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols + Obtain and document relevant clinical information and technical findings for physician review + Ensure adherence to established safety and quality standards + Operate imaging equipment with a high level of technical proficiency + Assist with maintenance of equipment, supplies, and imaging areas + Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, reports, and files + Educate patients and families on procedures and provide clear instructions + Monitor and assess patients as needed, utilizing proper sterile techniques when required + Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient and smooth transitions throughout the facility + Respond promptly and professionally to patient, physician, and staff needs + Support clerical tasks and patient transport as needed + Maintain accurate data entry, recordkeeping, and statistical reporting •

Qualifications:

• + Must meet prerequisites to sit for the
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• examination + ARDMS registration required within 180 days of hire + Current CPR certification required + Strong technical, organizational, and patient care skills
