$3137.00•$3232.00 This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Registered Vascular Technologist seeking to combine high-level vascular imaging with hands-on involvement in in-office vein procedures. You will be joining a well-established, patient-focused vascular and vein practice located in a vibrant community known for its welcoming neighborhoods, diverse dining and entertainment options, and convenient access to parks, cultural venues, and outdoor activities. Whether you enjoy local events, scenic walking and biking trails, or a lively downtown scene, the area provides a balance of work and lifestyle that appeals to a wide range of interests. The practice is based in a modern outpatient clinic with an on-site vascular laboratory designed to support efficient, high-quality diagnostic imaging and vein care. You will work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and a dedicated support staff who value teamwork, open communication, and a collaborative approach to patient care. The environment is professional yet friendly, with an emphasis on mutual respect, continuous learning, and shared commitment to excellent outcomes. As a Registered Vascular Technologist in this role, you will perform a comprehensive range of noninvasive vascular studies, including arterial duplex (AD), carotid duplex (CD), venous duplex (VD), and detailed venous insufficiency evaluations. You will be responsible for obtaining high-quality images, performing Doppler and hemodynamic assessments, documenting findings clearly and accurately, and working closely with providers to ensure timely interpretation and patient follow-up. Your expertise will be central to diagnosing peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease, and chronic venous insufficiency. In addition to vascular imaging, you will be cross-trained to participate in in-office vein procedures. This includes supporting the clinical team during procedures such as endovenous ablation, microphlebectomy, and other minimally invasive vein treatments. Daily responsibilities may involve pre-procedure vein mapping, intra-procedure ultrasound guidance, patient positioning, assisting with equipment setup, and post-procedure assessments. You will play an active role in patient education, helping patients understand their procedures, post-procedure care, and follow-up schedule. A typical day may include a mix of scheduled vascular studies and vein procedures. You may begin with carotid or arterial duplex studies, followed by venous reflux exams, and then transition into a dedicated procedure block for vein treatments. Patient flow is designed to be efficient and organized, allowing adequate time to obtain complete and accurate studies while maintaining a steady schedule. The caseload is varied, exposing you to a broad spectrum of vascular and venous conditions that support continuous skill development. Patient ratios are structured so that technologists can focus on quality over volume, with adequate support from nursing and administrative staff. Exam rooms and procedure rooms are equipped with modern ultrasound systems and up-to-date software to ensure reliable, detailed imaging and smooth integration with the electronic medical record. The facility emphasizes adherence to best practices and evidence-based vascular testing protocols, contributing to a high standard of diagnostic accuracy. Shifts are primarily daytime, weekday hours in an outpatient setting, supporting a predictable schedule and work-life balance. There may be some flexibility in scheduling based on practice needs, but on-call responsibilities are minimal to none compared with hospital-based positions. This makes the role attractive for professionals seeking a stable schedule while still engaging in meaningful, highly specialized work. This position offers a strong platform for professional growth. You will have opportunities to expand your skills in advanced vascular imaging, refine your expertise in venous insufficiency evaluation, and deepen your involvement in minimally invasive vein procedures. The practice encourages continuing education and staying current with evolving technology and techniques in vascular and venous care.
