Schedule/Hours:
Travel position; specific scheduling details provided during interview
Required Qualifications:
ARDMS certification in General Ultrasound or equivalent Previous experience in hospital or clinical ultrasound imaging Proficiency in a wide spectrum of ultrasound studies (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic patient care environment Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound procedures as ordered, ensuring diagnostic-quality images Collaborate with medical staff to deliver safe and efficient patient care Provide instruction and reassurance to patients during procedures Document all procedures, findings, and maintain accurate patient records Assist in maintaining ultrasound equipment and reporting any maintenance concerns Uphold department safety protocols and regulatory compliance
