We're looking for an experienced OB/MFM Sonographer to support clinics across Houston, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in motion, leads through adaptability, and shows up when teams need it most. As an OB/MFM Sonographer (Floater) , you'll work across a variety of low-risk and high-risk clinical sites. Some days you may support an MFM clinic, while other days you may step into a low-risk site that needs immediate support. No nights, weekends or on-call responsibilities. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform sonographic procedures. Cover a variety of clinical settings; including low-risk OB and MFM across multiple site locations. Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history. Create reports to assist the physician with documentation. Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies. Communicate sonographic findings to physician. Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis. Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery. Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance. Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs. Other duties assigned by managers Please note that duties and responsibilities of this position are subject to change and the employee may be required to perform additional tasks as needed. Is This You? 2+ years of OB sonography experience Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems Strong clinical judgment and adaptability across environments Comfort navigating new teams, workflows, and technology A steady, patient-first approach—especially in fast-moving situations Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A dependable, team-first mindset Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?
Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE) Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
