Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic Gastroenterology team as an Ultrasound Technician, where your expertise in medical imaging will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and care. Your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will ensure precise imaging, especially in abdominal ultrasound. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient well-being while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This position will rotate days between two offices. We have our main office in Lake Jackson and our Houston office, located at 12951 South Frwy, near Beltway 8. Duties
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision, focusing on abdominal organs.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process clearly and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret images and relay findings accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, ensuring compliance with medical standards and confidentiality protocols.
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance image quality and diagnostic accuracy. Experience
  • Effective communication
  • Certification in ultrasound and duplex- TX licensed
  • Hands-on experience with medical imaging equipment, including troubleshooting common technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
