Office setting Growth and professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Flexible work schedule Job Summary AccuRead Quality Mobile X-Rays is seeking an experienced and compassionate Mobile Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including general ultrasound, vascular studies, carotid ultrasounds, and 2D echocardiograms. This position requires travel to patients' homes and healthcare facilities throughout the Rio Grande Valley, from Mission to South Padre Island, Texas. The Mobile Ultrasound Technologist will work independently while delivering exceptional patient care and producing high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including: General ultrasound Vascular ultrasound Carotid ultrasound 2D echocardiograms Travel to patients' homes and healthcare facilities for scheduled appointments. Operate and maintain portable ultrasound equipment. Review patient history and select appropriate imaging protocols. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during examinations. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records while complying with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff regarding completed examinations. Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards. Represent AccuRead Quality Mobile X-Rays professionally while providing outstanding customer service. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Current ARDMS and/or CCI certification preferred (or as required). Experience performing general, vascular, carotid, and cardiac (2D echocardiography) ultrasound examinations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable traveling throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Experience in an emergency or acute care setting is a plus.
