Day Shift Description:

The Sonographer performs diagnostic procedures utilizing a background in anatomy, physiology, physics and instrumentation to provide technical information to aid the physician. The sonographer will demonstrate and maintain technical skills needed to perform ultrasound procedures on the population(s) served by the department and may include abdominal, OB/GYN, venous Doppler, small parts, pediatrics (where applicable) and invasive exams. In addition, the sonographer will maintain department supplies and equipment. Education and/or

Experience:

ARRT(S)

CPR Preferred:

One (1) year of experience as a fulltime sonographer in a hospital setting or diagnostic imaging clinic setting.
