Key Qualifications:
ARDMS certification in general ultrasound required Minimum of one year experience in a hospital or clinical ultrasound setting Strong technical skills in a wide range of general ultrasound procedures Proficiency in patient communication and compassionate care Current BLS certification Adaptability to new healthcare environments
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality general ultrasound imaging studies for diagnostic interpretation Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Accurately document findings and maintain detailed patient records Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for optimal patient care Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
