Position Summary:
The General Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. Using advanced ultrasound equipment, the technologist obtains accurate images of abdominal, pelvic, small parts, vascular (as applicable), and other anatomical structures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the examination process.
Job Duties:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients according to physician orders and established protocols. Conduct ultrasound studies of the abdomen, pelvis, small parts, soft tissue, vascular structures (as applicable), and other anatomical areas. Review patient history, verify physician orders, and explain procedures to patients.
