Job Description

Echo Technician Position Summary Pulse Physician Organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiographic studies, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting physicians in obtaining accurate diagnostic information to support exceptional patient care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform echocardiograms in accordance with established protocols and physician orders. Prepare patients for procedures and explain the testing process to ensure patient comfort. Obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements of cardiac structures and function. Recognize and document abnormal findings for physician review. Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment safely and effectively. Ensure proper documentation and accurate maintenance of patient records. Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care. Maintain a professional and patient-focused environment. Qualifications Cardiac Echo Technology Certification required. Current BLS Certification required. Experience performing adult echocardiograms preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Flexible schedule and willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed.
