1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care facility in Ogden, UT. Details Ultrasound department in an acute care hospital setting Patient population spans all ages including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Procedures include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, and vascular ultrasound examinations Charting via Epic EMR 4x10-hour night shifts, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Tuesday through Friday Requirements Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience required ARRT (RT) or ARDMS certification required; ARDMS must include at least one specialty registry beyond physics (OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, or vascular) Current BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to start date Active license required if applicable DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform ultrasound examinations under physician direction for identification of abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis Responsible for proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation prior to exams Must follow ACR guidelines for all exams and maintain compliance with medical necessity, coding, charging, and consent protocols Completes thorough documentation including time stamps and image storage Maintains quality control standards and reports equipment failures or issues Candidates who have been permanent staff at an Intermountain facility must be separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment Epic charting experience preferred
