In this energetic and rewarding position, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to assist in patient diagnosis and care, ensuring accurate imaging for a variety of medical conditions. Your expertise will support physicians and specialists in making informed decisions, especially within maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn). Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision, including obstetric, gynecologic, abdominal, and vascular imaging. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly, ensuring comfort and understanding. Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during imaging procedures. Analyze and optimize image quality using your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging principles. Document findings accurately in detailed reports for review by physicians and specialists. Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and answering questions about procedures. Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and troubleshooting to ensure consistent performance. Qualifications Proven experience or training in sonography, medical imaging, or related fields. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound procedures. Knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with diagnostic radiology techniques and patient care standards. Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with diverse patient populations. Ability to operate ultrasound equipment safely while adhering to aseptic techniques.
