Job Description

Summary ARDMS Certified Ultrasound Technologist (vascular and general) needed at our family practice to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Join us in enhancing patient outcomes through advanced imaging techniques and compassionate care, supporting our mission of health and well-being. Responsibilities. Work schedule is Monday through Friday with no call and day shift only. Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations with precision and attention to detail. Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results accurately. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections. Educate patients about procedures and address their concerns empathetically. Keep detailed records of all imaging procedures performed. Stay updated with the latest advancements in sonography and medical imaging. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as an ultrasound technologist, preferably in general and vascular ultrasounds. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Proficiency in sonography, medical imaging, and diagnostic radiology. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to operate ultrasound equipment effectively. Certification or licensure as required by state regulations. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Prior experience working in a clinical setting is a plus.
