Job Description

Mosaic Virginia is a Christian nonprofit helping women, men, and families who are unprepared for pregnancy. If you are passionate about the sanctity of human life and excellent client care, we would love to talk with you. We have four locations in Alexandria, Fairfax, Herndon, and Lansdowne. We are looking for Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) and/or nurses to join our amazing medical team at Fairfax and Alexandria centers. We provide all training. Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.
Job Description:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
OBJECTIVE
The RDMS assists in the provision of patient service and medical service operations in a team approach with the Senior Director of Clinical Services, medical services staff, and patient support team.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Be a committed Christian, dedicated to the sanctity of all human life. 2. Maintain a licensed/certified to practice as an RDMS in the state of Virginia 3. Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible 4. Exhibit strong interpersonal, technological, and administrative skills 5. Be able to work a flexible work schedule, including some evenings 6. Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to protocols and standing orders 7. Proficiency with EMR, database, and software systems 8. Spanish speaking a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review the EMR to confirm completeness and medical follow-up patient process report Meet with the patient, provide medical services established by the center's medical protocols, complete patient medical history and review medical documents with patient Provide ultrasounds and strictly adhere to the Medical Director's standing orders Meet with the patient for pregnancy counseling, education and referrals Complete and record all required and appropriate client forms, follow up, EMR and other records Provide patient follow-up as appropriate Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements Be comfortable working with EMR and paperless procedures Maintain current BLS certification
