Overview Echo Technologist•Radiology Newport, Vermont, United States Start date: July 13, 2026

Setting:
Critical Access hospital environment in a rural northeastern Vermont region Travel assignment with dedicated support throughout the assignment Responsibilities Perform echocardiography examinations (primarily transthoracic) and acquire high-quality images. Prepare patients, explain procedures, position the patient, monitor for comfort and safety, and document findings according to department protocol. Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment; optimize imaging parameters and ensure image quality. Collaborate with cardiology and radiology staff to coordinate exams, review results, and ensure accurate case reporting. Maintain patient records, manage workflow, and assist with scheduling and patient coordination as needed. Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; participate in department education sessions as required. Requirements Ability to work in a hospital setting. Must attend department quarterly education sessions. License and certification requirements as indicated in the job notes (exact details to be confirmed during hiring). Experience and education requirements will be defined per job notes and validated during the selection process. Availability to work a Day shift in a travel assignment and adapt to a hospital schedule. Benefits and Support Dedicated support throughout the assignment from a travel staffing team.
