In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Your expertise in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology will ensure high-quality imaging results that support patient care and clinical decision-making. This position offers an engaging environment where your technical skills and compassionate approach will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You will work closely with obstetricians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise imaging services in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Responsibilities Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and understanding Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and fetal development Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results in medical records Collaborate with medical staff to interpret images and assist in diagnosis, especially in maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn cases Maintain equipment functionality through routine calibration and troubleshooting as needed Uphold patient care standards by providing compassionate support, clear communication, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures Experience Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer with a strong foundation in medical imaging techniques Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology and obstetrics Familiarity with maternal-fetal medicine practices and obstetric ultrasound procedures Hands-on experience with sonography equipment and diagnostic radiology tools Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Ability to demonstrate aseptic technique and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures Prior exposure to patient care environments emphasizing empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail
