Job Description
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, he Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech; performs medical sonograms, exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care.Education and Training:
High School Diploma or GED; Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasoundLicensures/ Certifications:
Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification, must be obtained within 1 year. Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation periodExperience:
1-2 years of clinical experience, preferredSkills and Abilities:
Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems Excellent customer service skillsPer Diem Benefits Overview:
