PeaceHealth Orchards Clinic is seeking an Ultrasound Sonographer to join our outpatient family practice clinic. This is a full‑time, weekday day‑shift role—no nights, weekends, holidays, or on‑call. Why Sonographers Choose This Role Monday-Friday day shift only No call, no weekends, no holidays Clinic-based / outpatient setting Consistent, full-time hours Patient-focused care with a collaborative care team Supportive work environment designed for sustainable workloads Job Summary Under general direction, the Ultrasound Sonographer uses independent judgment and advanced technical skills to perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations. This role supports high-quality outpatient care by collecting and documenting diagnostic images and findings for interpretation by physicians. Essential Functions Perform ultrasound examinations based on provider orders, patient information, and physician consultation Record exam results and prepare accurate preliminary findings within scope of practice Communicate relevant findings to the interpreting physician Organize daily workflow and perform related clerical duties, including scheduling and operational logs Calibrate equipment and perform quality control procedures; report concerns as needed Apply ultrasound principles and physics in accordance with department protocols Prepare exam rooms and supplies based on exam and provider needs Use independent judgment to identify normal vs. pathological findings within licensed scope Review prior imaging, labs, and patient history to optimize diagnostic accuracy Tailor exams to individual patients while optimizing equipment settings Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Education Accredited School of Ultrasound Sonography required, or equivalent education/experience necessary to obtain national certification or licensure Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound Technology preferred Experience Minimum of 2 years diagnostic ultrasound experience in an acute care or clinic setting preferred Credentials (Required) ARRT - Sonography or ARDMS OB/GYN andARDMS AB
