  • ULTRASOUND Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau, WI Full Time (.8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period) PM shift Monday
  • Friday (4pm
  • 12am) Call schedule: approximately every 8th weekend and 2-3 nights of weekday call per month, 1 holiday per year
  • May be eligible for sign on bonus and shift differential

Job Description:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, applying professional judgment and technical expertise to ensure accurate, high-quality results. This role requires the ability to capture and evaluate detailed images, recognize abnormalities, and effectively communicate findings. The technologist collaborates closely with radiologists and ordering providers by supplying clear diagnostic images along with relevant clinical information to support accurate and timely diagnoses.
Experience/Qualifications:
Knowledge of standards and procedures as they relate to ultrasound normally acquired through graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. ARDMS Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
