JOB SUMMARY
As an Ultrasound Technologist at Grafton City Hospital, you will provide quality imaging for the purpose of diagnostic, vascular and cardiac procedures and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders to the patient and self, following all regulatory requirements, and while providing extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care, and clinical excellence, one patient at a time. Performs radiographic and clerical functions as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Successful completion of a formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent training as specified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Experience:
Must have at least 3 years' experience preferred. Effective interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with physicians and coworkers and instruct patients and their families. Must know how to do X-ray exams when needed, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Must be certified and registered as RDMS (OB or AB) or RT(S) AND RT (VS, RVT, or RVS) BLS certification either upon hire or within the orientation period. CPR Certification Grafton City Hospital is an Equal-Opportunity employer.
