1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience, ARDMS/RVT certification, and OB and arterial extremity Doppler experience for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital ultrasound department. Details Acute care hospital ultrasound department with 3 ultrasound rooms/scanners Performs general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound including upper and lower venous and arterial studies Average of 35 studies per day across 24 hours Uses Siemens S2000 ultrasound equipment

Cerner (Community Works);
PACS:
Intellirad/Intelliconnect 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday Every other weekend required; may be asked to participate in holiday rotation No call or standby requirement No floating to other departments required Requirements Minimum 1 year of sonography experience ARDMS certification required; RVT (via ARDMS) required OB and arterial extremity Doppler experience required BLS required WV state license required if applicable
WV CARES
required prior to start Cerner EMR experience preferred Must be able to start IVs Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Driver's license copy required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Performs general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular studies (upper and lower venous and arterial) in a high-volume environment Radiologist is on-site until 5 PM and on-call after hours; teleradiology (Vrad) covers 2 AM-6 AM Imaging Director and Manager available Monday-Friday during daylight hours and reachable by phone at all times Orientation consists of 5 shifts with a preceptor First-time travelers will be considered for this position Any color of clean, professional scrubs is acceptable; permanent staff wear Emerald Green (optional for travelers to match) Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being eligible to apply Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year before a 2-year break is required
