Diagnostic Medical Sonographer — OB/GYN

Cheyenne OB/GYN is the largest independent OB/GYN practice in southeastern Wyoming. We're hiring an ARDMS-credentialed sonographer to join a team of seven physicians, two women's health nurse practitioner, and our existing ultrasound staff. You'll perform the full range of obstetric and gynecologic exams in a clinic setting — predictable daytime hours, no overnight call, and no hospital coverage. About the role You'll work alongside our physicians performing OB and GYN ultrasound exams in our Cheyenne clinic.

Typical exams include:

First-trimester dating scans and NT (nuchal translucency) screening Complete fetal anatomy surveys Growth scans, biophysical profiles, and obstetric Doppler studies 3D and 4D obstetric imaging Transvaginal pelvic studies Saline-infused sonohysterography (SIS) Fetal echocardiography Follicle tracking for fertility monitoring IUD localization You'll scan on a GE Voluson Expert 22, document in Epic, and image to GE Viewpoint. What you'll do Perform diagnostic OB and GYN ultrasound exams to AIUM and ACOG standards Acquire, evaluate, and document images of diagnostic quality independently Communicate findings directly with the supervising physician Take a relevant patient history before each exam and integrate it into the report Maintain the equipment — daily QA, preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting Document exams in Epic and ensure images are stored to Viewpoint Keep the patient comfortable, especially during transvaginal studies What you'll need Required Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program ARDMS certification — RDMS with OB/GYN specialty preferred; Abdomen specialty considered Current BLS certification Comfort with EMR documentation and PACS workflows Strong patient communication skills and HIPAA discipline Helpful but not required One year or more of OB/GYN sonography experience NT certification through the Fetal Medicine Foundation Experience with 3D/4D imaging, SIS, fetal echocardiography, or fertility monitoring Prior experience on GE Voluson platforms We'll consider strong new graduates of accredited programs who have meaningful OB/GYN clinical training. Schedule and pay 36-40 hours per week, daytime No overnight call. No weekends.
