Ultrasound Technologist Location:

Pay Rate:

Permanent Placement Job Summary:
P3SG is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a hospital-based setting in Rawlins, Wyoming. This full-time Ultrasound Technologist job supports emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging services within a collaborative medical environment. The Ultrasound Technologist will provide routine to advanced ultrasound imaging, perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, and partner closely with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver routine and advanced diagnostic ultrasound examinations per physician orders and hospital protocols Perform general ultrasound exams , including Abdominal, OB/GYN, Small parts, and Vascular studies. Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal imaging outcomes Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Ensure accurate and timely PACS/RIS and EMR documentation Review physician orders, requisitions, and special instructions before exams Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions promptly Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams on patient care Assist with cross-training technologists and students as needed Perform other duties as assigned to support the department and patient care needs
Required Qualifications:
ARRT certification with ultrasound cross-training and Wyoming licensure ARDMS registration in Ultrasound Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound program Ability to perform general and vascular ultrasound exams Strong knowledge of ultrasound standards, safety, and equipment Proficiency with electronic medical records and imaging systems Prior hospital or clinical ultrasound experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in acute care or emergency department settings Radiology cross-training or additional modality experience Additional ARRT or ARDMS specialty certifications, including:
Abdomen, Breast, OB/GYN, MSK, Vascular Additional Information:
