Veterinarian - Urgent Care Focus Fairbanks, Alaska Looking for a veterinary position that offers the pace and variety of urgent care while still providing strong team support and work/life balance? Our independently owned, AAHA certified, 7 DVM small animal practice in Fairbanks, Alaska is seeking a veterinarian to join our collaborative and experienced team. This position is primarily focused on urgent care appointments, with opportunities to see routine wellness and preventive care visits as scheduling allows. Our hospital is newly renovated but has been a part of our community for over 50 years. Our doctors genuinely enjoy working together and supporting one another. This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys urgent care medicine, wants access to mentorship and collaboration, and is looking for a unique lifestyle opportunity in Alaska. One of the most rewarding aspects of this position is the opportunity to provide an essential service to the entire Fairbanks veterinary community. During evening hours, this veterinarian will care not only for patients from our own practice, but also for patients referred from other local veterinary hospitals after they close for the day. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact by helping ensure pets in the community continue to have access to veterinary care when they need it most. You will see a wide variety of urgent care cases while serving as an important resource for both pet owners and fellow veterinarians throughout the area.
