Veterinarian needed for Friday Vaccine Clinics Spay Neuter Clinic Glendale Glendale, AZ Job Details Part-time $950 - $1,500 a day 8 hours ago Qualifications Medical documentation Physical examinations Attention to detail Patience Veterinary Medicine Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Veterinary License Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a Veterinarian to join our team for our Friday Vaccine Clinics. We are primarily a Spay/Neuter clinic and offer the Vaccine Clinic to our clients. The shift is 8:00am to 4:30pm. You will have 4 assistants bringing pets to the back for exams, vaccines, testing, etc. We also offer Cytopoint for allergies, and otitis treatment. You will have minimal client interaction. Most of the pets are healthy and there are a lot of puppies. Another DVM is on the premises doing surgeries and helping you if needed. We have electronic medical records through Pulse (formerly called eVet). Responsibilities Administer vaccinations and perform wellness examinations for pets. Collaborate with veterinary assistants to ensure efficient clinic operations and complete medical records. Adhere to clinic protocols and vaccines guidelines. Educate pet owners on vaccination protocols, preventive care, and general pet health. This can be relayed through the assistant and with handouts. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. Valid veterinary license to practice in Arizona. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and being courteous to the staff.
