Non-profit Clinic seeking veterinarians for full time or part time work in Tucson, AZ ! Be the reason a pet stays in their home. Friends Pet Clinic , part of Friends of PACC (voted Best Non-Profit by the Arizona Daily Star five years in a row), is seeking energetic, compassionate veterinarians to join our team. We are a non-profit veterinary clinic committed to treating pets who would otherwise not receive medical care — many facing the risk of relinquishment or euthanasia.
Our mission is simple:
keep pets healthy, comfortable, and with the families who love them. What We Do Provide affordable, high-quality medical care focused on efficiency, client education, and patient comfort Partner with PACC to reduce shelter intake and provide follow-up care for adopted pets Offer high-volume spay/neuter and emergency surgeries (foreign bodies, pyometras, and more) in our new surgical suite Practice with a fully equipped clinic: in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a technician-driven workflow that saves doctor time Care for stable patients with limited hospitalization when needed Our Approach We stick to the fundamentals of medicine, prioritizing patient comfort and quality of life in the most cost-effective way possible. Every decision we make is rooted in compassion and community impact. Who We're Looking For Licensed in Arizona (DEA license preferred) Experienced vets who can hit the ground running — or new grads ready to learn Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professionalism are non-negotiable Team players who value collaboration with skilled technicians and support staff Compassionate veterinarians who believe in accessible, community-focused care Why Join Us? Mission-driven work with life-changing impact for pets and families. Supportive, collaborative team environment. Opportunity to use your surgical skills in a high-volume, well-equipped setting. Work-life balance with flexible scheduling. Competitive nonprofit salary & benefits — NOT production based. Your focus is on care, not quotas. Advancement opportunities available including Medical Director position. If you want your veterinary career to mean more — to save lives, keep pets out of shelters, and strengthen families in our community — then Friends Pet Clinic is the place for you. Apply today and help us make life better for pets and their families in Pima County! We need you to be licensed in Arizona, and would like you to have a DEA license. We would love veterinarians with experience who could hit the ground running to get us started out with a bang! We will gladly mentor a newer graduate. We absolutely require a positive attitude, solid work ethic, and the ability to be respectful and professional. We offer competitive salary and benefits, as well as flexible scheduling.
