No Birds or Reptiles. Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Full-Time Veterinarian, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their owners. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, compassionate environment dedicated to providing exceptional animal care. You will utilize your veterinary knowledge and critical care skills to diagnose, treat, and support a diverse range of species, ensuring the highest standards of animal health and well-being. Our team is drama free and our culture and animal care is our top priority. Duties Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnose health issues across various animal species, including dogs, cats, equines, and small mammals. Develop and implement treatment plans, administer medications, and perform surgical procedures with precision and care. Handle animal restraint safely and effectively during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff. Soft tissue surgeries and over seeing Dentals. Utilize veterinary terminology accurately to document cases, communicate with team members, and educate pet owners. Apply aseptic techniques during surgeries and invasive procedures to prevent infection and promote healing. Conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, and interpret findings to inform accurate diagnoses. Assist with pet grooming, animal husbandry, catheterization procedures, and other essential animal care tasks to promote overall health. Skills Proven veterinary experience with a strong background in critical care practices. Expertise in animal handling techniques, including dog handling and equine experience. Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and veterinary terminology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Skilled in animal restraint methods to ensure safety during examinations or procedures. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment used in diagnostic testing. Ability to perform pet grooming, pet care routines, and animal husbandry tasks efficiently. Experience with aseptic techniques during surgeries or invasive procedures is highly desirable. Our pay is Pro Sal based on experience! Please inquire! Open 7 days a week. Schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9-6
