Relocation support available I'm currently partnering with a group of highly respected private veterinary clinics in the Sacramento, California area to identify two talented veterinarians to join their team: one Senior/Lead Veterinarian and one Associate Veterinarian who is looking for continued training, mentorship, and professional growth. This is an excellent opportunity for veterinarians who want to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. About the Opportunity These are privately owned, female-led clinics with an excellent reputation, a loyal client base, and a strong presence in the Sacramento community. One of the clinics has been established for 14 years , providing long-term stability and a trusted foundation for both clients and team members. The owner has built a positive, team-oriented culture and genuinely values work-life balance. Doctors are supported clinically and administratively, allowing them to focus on patient care, client relationships, and continued professional development. Positions Available Senior/Lead Veterinarian The Senior/Lead Veterinarian will be an experienced doctor who is comfortable providing high-quality medical care, supporting clinical standards, mentoring team members, and helping guide the continued growth of the practice. Associate Veterinarian The Associate Veterinarian role is ideal for a doctor who is eager to keep learning, grow clinically, and receive additional training. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a teaching doctor who is committed to mentorship and professional development, especially in surgical procedures. Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care Build strong relationships with clients through clear and thoughtful communication Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and support staff Maintain accurate and complete medical records Participate in continuing education and professional development Contribute to a positive, respectful, team-oriented clinic culture For Senior/Lead candidates: provide mentorship and clinical leadership For Associate candidates: actively engage in training, mentorship, and skill development Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent Licensed or eligible for licensure in California Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to excellent patient care and client service Interest in continued learning and professional growth Surgical interest or experience preferred Leadership experience preferred for the Senior/Lead Veterinarian role Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a compassionate, motivated veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive private-practice environment.
