Job Description

Introduction Our client is a full-service small animal hospital in Gardena, CA, seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. With a strong reputation for compassionate care, the practice provides comprehensive veterinary services to dogs and cats while promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative healthcare, and client education. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. The Associate Veterinarian position is full-time within these hours, with Saturday coverage required and no after-hours responsibilities. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide a broad range of veterinary care, including preventive wellness exams, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, senior pet care, and surgical services. The role also includes supporting emergency cases and collaborating with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. This opportunity is suited for an experienced veterinarian committed to delivering high-quality medicine in a supportive and client-focused environment. Practice Details This full-service facility offers preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, senior pet support, and emergency services. Boarding is also available, providing pets with a safe and comfortable environment while away from home. The hospital's in-house diagnostic lab is equipped with radiography, bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal testing, allowing for efficient and accurate diagnosis and treatment. Team The practice is home to 2 DVMs supported by a compassionate and committed team of technicians and support staff. The environment is collaborative, with a strong focus on both medical excellence and supportive client relationships.
