Ark Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice where we take pride in treating our staff like family and our clients like friends. We practice high quality medicine while adjusting to the needs and desires of our clients. If a great work-life balance is important to you, this is a great place to fulfill your desires. A very flexible schedule works great for us. Also, in order to have a nice relaxing break mid day, we are closed (doors locked and phones off) mid day from 11:30-1 daily. We don't have boarding facilities (so the environment is typically quiet) and there are no after hours on call responsibilities. www.arkahsd.com Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status. Diagnose medical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide emergency care for animals in critical condition. Educate pet owners on proper pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress. Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education. Experience Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school is required. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their pets' health needs. A compassionate approach towards animals combined with a strong work ethic.
